Google Fit App Adds Strength Training and Real Time Statistics

Mountian View, CA, United States (4E) – Google rolls out a new version of its Fit app. The update started rolling out yesterday to Android devices and offered a good set of additional new features. The changelog was actually detailed by the search company today stressing the addition of self-training and real-time statistics.

This means that you can now instantly track your progress while doing runs, walks and rides. To be specific, Google Fit flashes essential information in a glance, especially when you’re in the middle of your training.

Likewise, you’ll also get the strength training support if you have an Android Wear watch. Google Fit automatically records sit-up counts, push-ups and squats. These information will then be added in your in your daily activity.

The Google Fit is now integrated with a good number of third party health and fitness apps. You will be delighted if you are users of MyFitnessPal , Fatsecret , Lifesum and Loselt . The update has also improved the app’s sleep tracking capability. The integration for the said apps will be rolled out in the next few days. In the meantime, you can check if your Google Fit app pushes some update.
